since spring of 2014 I have an issue its waste management in Springfield ll they have continued miss me on their route for garbage pick up and recycled products.although I was not in arrears with my bill I was told they refuse to discuss this issue of not picking up anything with me until my bill was paid stupidly I paid my bill till October 2015 in the amount of one hundred and thirty dollars this had absolutely no effect on my pickup they still did not pick up. this is a union company if anyone had an argument against a union and I don't have arguments against most unions... I do have one with the Teamsters because they are the ones that are not picking up my garbage when I've already paid for that pick uptil October 2015. what's up with that union... Teamsters I don't want to support you in any way shape or form and in fact I have recently discovered that most unions don't support the Teamsters that sucks for the Teamsters if no one wants to support you including any and all unions but yourself. I'm really upset because they owe $130 which they are not giving me they have not returned my phone calls yet they invaded my yard to pick up there refuse or garbage disposal vehicle. I would rather pay anyone but the Teamsters more money to pick up my garbage because I'm sure they would but the Teamsters won't. I refuse to support the Teamsters and waste management disposal any people out there who will . They charge a $125 fee if the garbage is over the rim? My MONTHLY bill is only $150! Of that $150 there are "Fuel/environmental charge" of $59.99! What a rip off. I would never recommend them! Absolutely horrible company! When I began service, online, there was no mention of being locked into a contract. When I called to terminate my service due to increasing fees/costs there was no mention of a contract, only that I owed a prorate that would be calculated and sent later. I was sent a letter threatening collections after speaking with two representatives who assured me that I owed nothing. I contacted a Supervisor who told me that all he could do was reduce the balance and apologized that I was never told of fees due to early termination of the contract. He reduced the amount due by about $45 and I made the payment even though it is a complete rip off. Now, more than two weeks later, I get another notice threatening collections for approximately $45!!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND Waste Management EVER!

Dumpster Review

Worst service ever. They messed up the last 3 out of 4 deliveries. When I called customer service they didn't do a thing. They wouldn't even expedite it the following day. I waited an additional day just to get my dumpster 2 days late. They will not give me any type of credit. They have cost me so much money waiting on them. I would highly recommend you avoid this company.

I think that someone should give these clowns a standing Ovation for the absolute complete Ripp Off Award of the year.I would rather have all my teeth pulled out and then get kicked in the Nuts than have to deal with this Company.I know the staff must all get together and laugh there heads off about how they %$#$ you over.Is there anyone and I mean anyone in the government who isn't being pieced off that can look into this joke.I want to stress that they are harder than a bone a dog couldn't chew to get any satisfaction,and they love to put you on hold for 45 minutesand cut you off,or transfer you to a dead line,no one is ever accountable either,its you pay and then you pay some more and If we feel like it we might help you out, don't ever get involved with this joke

Waste management scam

I had very bad experience with waste management.They increased the price from$200 to$780.They trick you to sign the papers which in very fine prints Which is very hard to read they write that the contract is automatically renewed even after three years if you don't give notice three months before.So when I sold the property all my bills were paid before the closing.As the account was preauthorized.After the closing we closed our account and informed them.Now one year after the sale of property I am getting the calls from collection to pay the invoices.When all my invoices are paid by preauthorized payment during the period I owned the property.Their services were horrible so many times I used to get letters from city for the overflowing garbage and litter around the box as they were not picking the garbage on time.So the new buyer replaced them with other company who is much cheaper and doing better job.

RIP OFF: charging service resume fee when service was never cancelled!

I missed my payment and was billed for late fee with was fine and I paid that promptly. They then send another bill for "resumption of service".

They claim that since my payment was late service was suspended, even though they kept servicing me. To add insult to injury, earlier in the year they changed my pickup date and then missed 2 pickups and refused to refund me for that!

I have called and emailed to no avail - calls are cut off with "someone will call you back" and they never do, emails are not responded to. STAY AWAY from them, you can find MUCH CHEAPER local trash collectors!

I had a similar experience. I argued with the agent for about 25 minutes then gave up. I cancelled service and went with another local trash collector.

WM refuses to provide service

I am a renter in a subdivision and I set up service. However, because WM has a contract with the HOA of my subdivision, they will not provide service unless I am a member of the HOA so they refunded my prepayment. As a renter, I don't want to join the HOA. It is ridiculous. They flat-out refused to set up a new account for me. I said I would seek another provider. They said, "Ok". Is it just me or is it insane to force customers to join an organization to receive service? Customer service was polite but unhelpful and wouldn't transfer me to anyone higher up the chain. Never using them again.

They are a rip off I payed for 6 months of service and after 2 months they stopped my service and wouldn't pick up my garbage and I complain several times they promised to take the garbage in 48 hours it's been over a week so I stopped using them they are the worst and they hang up on you all the time

WM charged me a bogus bill after I had paid and is now attacking my credit.

Service began 3/2/14 paid $43.12 over the phone for April-June. Was told the pro-rated $14.38 would be on my bill and it was which was received dated 4/1/14 with the total amount due of the $14.38. I was told that I could hold paying that amount until the next quarter bill that would come in July. I made payment of $57.50 on 6/19/14 which paid the prorated month of March and paid July-September. In July they stopped picking up the trash. I thought that the trash guys just decided not to come down to our house because we live on the end of a rough gravel road. Then in August I got a bill for a resume service fee of $38.30. I should have never gotten this fee because I paid as agreed. I called about this bill. The rep said it was a fee because I paid the $14.38 in June. I told her that I was told to do that. She said there was no proof of that. I got frustrated and ended the phone call. Feeling I did not owe the resume fee I didn't pay it. October bill comes and it is outrageous, billing still for the fee and the next quarters bill. Since I didn't have luck over the phone I used the contact us thru the website. Got a response back that my services was canceled. A few days after the email I come home to the trash can gone. Can you lease help clear this up. I feel I should have never been billed the resume fee. My services should have never been suspended in July. And I need a trash can and services next week.

Every other month Waste Management refuse's to pick up my trash. I get a bill every two months if that. Being on a fixed income I pay it within a couple weeks of getting the bill. Yet they just stop picking up. When I call them they say that my acct has been canceled. This month it happened again. I paid my bill in Nov the got a bill this month. Paid it on the 21st and my trash hasn't been picked up in 3 weeks today. Why am I paying these idiots? Its obviously not to pick up my garbage. I feel like I'm giving them money for not doing their jobs and I'm getting royally ripped off. I'm half tempted to file a fraud complaint with the authorities. In fact if my trash isn't picked up tomorrow I may do just that. I'm P'ed off!

6 year costumer charged $380.00 to get out of contract.

I had been a customer for 6 years. After doing some homework I found another trash company that would do the same job for $83.00 cheaper. When I went to cancel they wanted $380.00!!! I would never sign a contract with this company. I would never use this company. The contracts are for 3 years and then re-new every year on the date of expiration. The tricky part here is you have to give them 6 months notice and you are stuck with them for that 6 months! You could be stuck with them for a total of a year and a half if you notify them at the date of your anniversary! You can't talk to anyone on the phone. There service is not that great. If I were looking for a trash company I would suggest a company that is local.

Never comes through with their promises

We were promised 6 times to collect our garbage and all 6 times the garbage was not collected. Waste Management took over for Waste Haulers and our garbage was not collected for 4 weeks. I called 6 times and explained that our garbage is overflowing and they promised 6 times to collect the garbage. All 6 times they did not collect the garbage. We were also promised that the regional manager would call us and we never received that phone call. They are extremely unreliable and they don't really care about their customers. We are forced to look for another waste company.

No pick up of trash

Like the other man in Taunton, I used to have Waste Haulers. Unfortunately they were bought out by Waste Management and I am having the same issues. They are not picking up my trash and I am overflowing. The other problem I had was I paid Waste Haulers in advance so I always had a credit on my statement when it came in. When Waste Haulers was bought out, I still had 3 months of bills on credit. However, Waste Management has no record of this. So they want me to start paying them immediately when I have already paid for my service in advance. (Maybe that is understandable because of acquisition confusion or lack of a smooth transition, but the lack of picking up the trash is egregious.)
