Called back again yesterday and spoke with someone that had me believing in them again. Then the other side of waste management just cant get anything done.

Trash bags are still outside next to the curb. And I still dont have a container!

Do I leave them out there till my home owners association gives me a fine? R you gonna pay it?!

Ive been assured time and time again that someone will pick up trash and Ill get a container to put it in. Whats the issue???

Trash hasnt been picked up for a week, they keep telling me someone will get it, still sits in bags outside my house a week later. Called every other day, that dont seem to care.

Im still waiting for em to drop off a container.

WTF is going on. Or isnt.??

They will tell you anything you want to hear and then do absolutely nothing about it. They don't care!

It has been years of these types of actions by this company. By now, some executive should have recognized how they are failing in this area. I have been trying to cancel a house in our accounts list that we sold.

We have called three months in a row. They say every time, 'You are all set!

Trash pickup

I have not had trash pickup since November 22, 2024. It has been 3 weeks going on 4 weeks.

Every time I call waste management, they say it will be picked up that week. They lie. It has been happening in my area for the past month. I asked about getting credit for not picking up the trash.

They won't even do that. Don't use waste management.

This is the worst garbage company that you possibly could deal with. They often miss your trash pick-ups, and they conveniently make it impossible to reach a live person.

I pay for a service that they can't even honor. This company is "TRASH" in the literal sense.

I would stay far away from this company. Does not even deserve a star.

I will work with WM local branch to do what I need and avoid the corporate controlled website that is unuseable and what I am "Pissed" about. If that gets me gas, I will continue to use WM for my gas.

The corporate website of Waste Management is unusable. I ended up paying twice (hundreds of dollars).

Now the login fails, so I reset the password. The email reply says that it works, but the login still fails after hours of trying. There's no phone number to call, the chat box is a failure, as it offers unusable options. The webmaster of the customer login page is either a jerk, intentionally making it impossible, or very incompetent in making a usable page.

I have spent many hours on several different days trying to access my hundreds of dollars of credit, as well as complying with an email saying I should update my account. I consider Waste Management a classic example of why monopolies are wrong and how billion-dollar companies get rich by not providing service to the ratepayers.

Preferred solution: Access to my online account via a password reset that actually works, even montha later. As well the corporate webpage be made useable for everyone including me.

User's recommendation: Pay inperson avoid online faceless corporations that have access to your bank.

Waste Management is worthless

Our bin was blocked, so they didn't pick it up. Now I cannot get in touch with anyone to ask for another pickup.

I called the 800 number, and after I was supposedly put on hold, the phone disconnected after a minute.

The second attempt was picked up by some kids and I asked for their parent who worked for Waste Management, and they just kept talking and wouldn't listen. I don't know what kind of show WM is running, but they better get their customer service in order, or I'm switching trash companies.

Outrageous fees, customer service is terrible, business is not ethical.

A $5 late fee prompted me to research options and I found that WM was 100% more expensive than its competitor. Then, to cancel service at the end of a quarterly cycle, they charge $105 to come and retrieve their can, which they drive by every week. It's a scam and they should be put out of business for the way they treat customers.

Terrible customer service

A car parked next to my garage can and they didn't pick it up. I called and asked them if they could come back and empty it; she said no, I have to wait until the next pickup.

So, you pay a set rate for 3 months, and if they deny service, you still have to pay.

The city I live in picked them, and we are forced to use them. I wouldn't if I had a choice.

I called and talked to 2 people. Both were rude and didn't care about my problem.

I told them I put the can out every Sunday night.

I can't help if a car parked next to it. I just wanted a to get the service I'm paying for.

Invoice amount incorrect

I use Waste Management for trash services for a business facility I manage. The transaction amounts on my company card are sometimes hundreds of dollars over the invoice amounts on the website.

I need receipts that match the charges taken from my card.

We will be going to a different company when able. I wish to speak to a billing specialist or someone who can help, not just a basic level customer service representative.

Missed pickup

WM has missed several pickups on our road. We are in a rural area and we pay for this service through our water company.

When I call to ask why, they say it shows it was picked up. Really? Do I need to submit pictures of my overflowing trash? Or, they say it's so close to your next pickup date.

Next, they say submit a pickup request. That never happened.

What are we supposed to do with the trash piling up for the next week? Because they won't dump it if it's overflowing!

Up date; today is 11/28/24, Thanksgiving Day. Waste Management systems, Finally as of 11/27/24 removed the last of the spoiled food from our 3 refrigerators and 4 freezers from the abundance of garbage cans on the road in front of our home. The spoiled, rotten food and meat we lost was from Hurricane Helene on September 24, 2024. We have literally called Richland County EVERY DAY (and they have begged Waste Management every day) s8nce the Hurricane. Waste Management has sent trucks by every Friday on their regular runs and picked up the Herbie Kerbies but refused to pick up anything extra because of it not being in a Herbie Kerbie. With my arthritis and back issues, it is impossible to transfer the HEAVY garbage to the Kerbies and Richland county has explained daily to WM the issue and assure Richland county it would be taken care of. It's the road crew for WM that is worthless. I even ran down the driver of the route truck after she bypassed the extra garbage and told her to please go back and empty the trash cans, and her reply was "Who the *** do you think you're talking to?"

It took 2 months for WM to do their obligated job all because of "entitled" employees on the route that don't care about working. 2 months of stinking, rancid food and meat sitting on the road for neighbors and animals to smell. Waste Management is as worthless as they can be.

I urge anyone that sees this post. To share it, copy and post it. Do anything you can to get this out and bring Waste Management into a blackened forefront.

BTW...the staff and management at Richland County solid waste, did a superior Job of helping with this problem and they stayed on top of it. In fact, we are now on a "first name" basis with this department, and have personally prayed with each other thru the process. It took 2 months, but we DID prevail. To those of you that say "They won't do...", YES THEY WILL if you stay strong and persistent. After all, it's your money that Richland County spends to provide these services. You have the right and obligation to see it is spent according to your needs.

Destroying my private property with careless drivers

I have lived here at my home for almost two years and have talked to the person driving and also tried calling every number given to me. I have been yelled at by those who are hired for customer service and given the runaround because I am asking them to come to a full stop before dropping my garbage can on the sidewalk.

They keep driving off before they put the can down, causing it to slam into my car every pickup day. It's getting sickening, honestly.

Your drivers should have a bit more respect for the people that use their services. Should I put it in the middle of the street to be picked up?

I wish to terminate your service as of March 18.

The service has been wonderful however the cost is very expensive.

Weve been with WM for over 30+ years.

Our Williamson service man has been considerate of our property and placing the tote and recycling boxes so we could still get in our driveway. He placed empty items and never tossed or through them. I wish I knew his name!
